Are there any drug interactions associated with Extreme Pain Reliever?
ExtremePR may be used in conjunction with oral pain relievers. Menthol, one of the main ingredients in ExtremePR, has no known interactions with other drugs. Because ExtremePR DOES NOT contain methyl salicylate (common in other topical pain relievers), it does not interact with prescription blood thinners such as Coumadin (warfarin). If you have any concerns, please contact your doctor.

Why is Extreme Pain Reliever safer than my oral pain medications?
Oral Non-Steroidal Medication (NSAIDs) which include ibuprofen and aspirin among others have all been associated with stomach bleeding or other gastrointestinal issues. Drugs like acetaminophen  (Tylenol) has been associated with liver toxicity and death.  Additionally, these oral over the counter drugs can cause negative interactions with prescriptive and other over the counter medications. Since ExtremePR is topical, works differently by targeting the specific areas where the pain is felt.

How often do you need to apply Extreme Pain Reliever?
The benefits last between 4 to 6 hours. You may apply up to 4 times a day.

Does ExtremePR have a distinct scent?
ExtremePR has a fresh menthol scent that will disappear after about 10 minutes. The scent comes from the natural menthol in the product that works to help block the pain sensations. In addition, ExtremePR has a disappearing formula that penetrates completely into the skin eliminating the greasy residue and annoying petrolatum mess associated with topical products.  ExtremePR is applied and disappears providing the safety of a topical product with the convenience of an oral.
